🔐 🏆 SOC2 certified
We're working very hard in having Brainboard, SOC2 compliant. SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) is a type of audit and certification that assesses the internal controls of a service organization related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy of a system. SOC 2 certification is an assurance that a service organization has the necessary controls in place to protect their customer's sensitive data. SOC 2 certification is issued by an independent auditing firm after an in-depth examination of a service organization's policies, procedures, and controls. The audit process typically includes a review of the service organization's information systems, infrastructure, and security practices, as well as interviews with key personnel. Being SOC 2 certified means that the service organization has been independently audited and found to have the necessary controls in place to protect sensitive data and meet the requirements set forth in the SOC 2 standard. This can be an important factor for businesses that handle sensitive data, such as financial institutions, healthcare providers, and other organizations that are subject to regulatory compliance requirements. SOC 2 certification can also be beneficial for organizations that want to demonstrate to their customers and partners that they take data security and privacy seriously, and have the necessary controls in place to protect sensitive data.
